It was pleasent weather to go to mountains. Target was mountain Krn with my friend Urška.

 

MTB weekend at Bovec

On Saturday we went around Kanin mountains and on Sunday we have bike trip to high mountain pass Vršič (across the Julian Alps) in northwestern Slovenia. In the Sunday evening we have some refreshment in Soča river (at Čezsoča). Below you can find few pictures and detailed path.

Saturday, 13th July: Čezsoča - Žaga - Učeja - Krnica - Sella Nevea - Lago del Predil - Predel - Čezsoča (95 km / 2220 hm)

Sunday, 14th July: Čezsoča - Vršič - Čezsoča (69 km / 1530 hm)

Week off at peninsula Pelješac

For beginning of summer, offer from family Jereb to stay one week at peninsula Pelješac, at camp Lupis in Lovište, with them was perfect choice. We enjoy every day from Saturday to next Sunday when we left and went back home.

Training day for MTB

Today was in Slovenia National holiday, so there was no need to go to work and we have a free day. Ok. Amost free, cause yesterday evening we made a plan (brother Damjan and friends Marko and Spela) to go in the morning with MTB. We made circle (Idrija - Vojsko - Mrzla rupa - Predmeja - Otlica - Zadlog - Crni Vrh - Godovic - Idrija). Weather condition was perfect and we really enjoy on our trip. It's wonderful nature through Trnovski Gozd and there was almost no traffic near us.

Trip length: 75 km / 1620 hm.

Sunny Sunday with MTB

Short bike trip to Zakojca. Zakojca is best known as the birthplace of the writer France Bevk. Best part of today trip was from Zakojca to Hudajužna (two pictures below). At bottom you can find video with downhill from Zakojca to Hudajužna.

Complete route: Šentviška Gora - Bukovski Vrh - Zakojca - Hudajužna - Bača - Slap - Šentviška Gora (47 km / 1100 hm)

Afternoon MTB

Short bike trip near my home with one short stop before Grahovo - road was closed for few minutes cause of train's coming from Bohinjska Bistrica :) Foto proof at the end...

Complete route: Šentviška Gora - Bukovski vrh - Grahovo - Kneža - Bača pri Modreju - Idrija pri Bači - Slap ob Idrijci - Šentviška Gora (38 km / 960 hm)

Saturday was reserved for enjoying in nature around Tolminska with MTB. It was great day with short stop in Tolmin and than forward to Čadrg and than back home.

Complete route was: Šentviška Gora - Ponikve - Logaršče - Klavže - Kneža - Podmelec - Ljubinj - Poljubinj - Tolmin - Zatolmin - Čadrg - Zatolmin - Tolmin - Most na Soči - Bača pri Modreju - Idrija pri Bači - Slap ob Idrijci - Šentviška Gora (66 km / 1610 hm).

 

 

Backcountry at Vojsko plateau

I never thought that I will ever skiing in April :) I decided Sunday morning to drive to Vojsko (highest village in Primorska region). Weather and snow conditions were completely winter. I parked near church and then I prepare BC skies and adventure begin in foggy, windy and cold weather.

 

Nassfeld

On of the best Saturday in last month - perfect condition for skiing. Temperature was throughout the day under the 0 degree Celzium. Whole day enjoying on ski slopes at Nassfeld. It was really amazing with great company.

Pleasent afternon sport activity after work in last two days... priceless :)
